​"This wonderful little Racoon lives down by the sea shore at the Port Angeles Ferry dock and waits for people to line up for the ferry so that he can beg for food.  Thankfully the shoreline provides him with a natural and plentiful diet.  As I watched him, he seemed to literally "hop" from one rock to another searching for treasures down by the sea shore - I was captivated by his feet and hands and wanted them to feature in this painting just as much as his face markings."
