"Bighorn Sheep use a variety of habitat types within their home ranges including open grasslands, alpine and meadows as well as steep rock outcrops and cliffs. They browse on grasses, clover and sedges in warm months. When not grazing it lies down and chew its cud.
In this piece I wanted to show a gentler side of this majestic animal and chose to settle it into its grassy meadow resting place.”
